Dietary Aide

Skilled Nursing at Bethany is looking for a Full-Time Dietary Aide Relief. This role will fill both AM and PM shift with variable hours, including some weekends. Full time diet aid position required to fill both AM & PM Shifts with variable hours.

The Dietary Aide prepares and delivers meals to residents by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

·         Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and other beverages for service.

·         Assist in preparation and service of meal trays.

·         Assist the cook in preparation of vegetables, fruits, salads, and desserts.

·         Assure cleanliness in the dining areas.

·         Respond to any other regular or special tasks as required by the cook in charge or by the dietary supervisor.

·         Reads production orders on menu cards on trays to determine items to place on tray.

·         Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays.

·         Examines filled tray for completeness and places on cart.

·         Serves trays to residents.

·         Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns cart to kitchen.

·         Washes dishes and cleans work area, tables, cabinets, and ovens.

·         Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
