Harvest Intern

Torrin Vineyard and Winery is currently accepting applications for full time temporary harvest positions for the 2026 vintage.  We are a premium artisan winery located in the Willow Creek District of West Paso Robles producing roughly 3000 cases per vintage. 

We are seeking two team members to assist in all aspects of wine production during the harvest season beginning late August and extending through late November. 

While experience is certainly welcome, it is not required.  We do require an eagerness to learn, a solid work ethic and a great attitude.  While harvest is an exciting time of year, it is physically demanding.  Prospective team members should expect long days and will be required to work 6 – 7 days per week during the peak weeks of the season.

Team member participation includes but is not limited to the following –

-            Vineyard tasks as needed including canopy adjustments, fruit load management, maturity monitoring and harvesting.

-            Winery sanitation

-            Receiving and sorting fruit

-            Operation of sorting tables, de-stemmer and press

-            Pre fermentation treading

-            Fermentation cap management – primarily punch downs with occasional pump over or delistage on select varieties.

-            Fermentation monitoring including sugar depletion and sensory analysis

-            Drain and press

-            Empty barrel maintenance

-            Prepping and filling barrels

-            Barrel topping

-            Additional property and winery projects as needed

We are a family owned and operated project.  You will be working alongside the owner/ winemaker throughout the vintage and will be informed of the thought process and factors that go into the decision making and winemaking protocol.  

Fully furnished on site housing with full kitchen and laundry is provided, but dependable transportation is required and will be the responsibility of the harvest team members. Lunch is provided on harvest days.

Hourly range $19 – $22 DOE
