Lending Specialist – 6-Month Contract To Hire

We are seeking an experienced Lending Specialist to support loan processing, documentation, closing, and servicing activities within a banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the loan lifecycle from approval through closing and servicing
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, lenders, legal teams, and operations to ensure timely closings
• Review loan documentation for accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Support loan funding, payments, draws, payoffs, and servicing activities
• Resolve transaction issues and communicate with stakeholders throughout the process

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or similar role
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems (nCino preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred:

• Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and C&I loan documentation.
