Job DescriptionCompany Description
Our client is an investment management firm. They seek a temp Fund Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for our funds
- Contribute to the preparation of fund financial statements, reports, and disclosures
- Reconcile cash and investment accounts
- Leverage Carta or Flow for accounting and reporting functions
- Coordinate with fund administrators to ensure compliance and accuracy in fund operations
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support to the investment team
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Fund Accountant or similar role in private equity/venture capital
- Experience with closed-end private equity funds is essential; venture capital experience is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong familiarity with Carta or Flow platforms
