Furniture Delivery Drivers/Helpers

We are Last Mile Delivery company looking for Experienced Furniture Delivery Driver with Assembly Skills to perform "white glove" deliveries of furniture for upscale store.

Candidates must have 1 year or more of driving expense of 26’ NONE CDL box truck with lift gate, more over, must have knowledge, experience or ability and desire to learn how to assemble furniture. Must be logical, quick learner, team player working well as a team of 2 driver/helper team and must be technical and detail oriented. Must have exceptional time management skills, must have outstanding customer service skills, must be patient in delivery process and assembling of all types of furniture. This position requires 12 hrs or less shifts 5 days per week Tuesday -Saturday averaging 9 hrs per day. You must be able to lift and move heavy items. Must be detail oriented, Must have communications skills English /Spanish languages preferred. Must have clean driving record!

Candidates who do not have at least 2 references from past jobs will not be considered for this position. Based on performance, and if interested, within 3 month selected candidate will have an opportunity for growth into a lead driver/drive teams lead with higher pay rate, managing and supervising teams of drivers at 2 local warehouses.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using manual transmission, forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as necessary
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including regular inspections and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and perform repetitive tasks
