Job Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for supporting commercialization, customer engagement, and marketing execution across OsteoCentric Technologies’ growing platform and business segments.
This role operates within a fast-paced, founder-led organization and requires a highly collaborative marketing leader who is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while helping drive projects forward across cross-functional teams.
The Director of Marketing will support commercialization initiatives across OsteoCentric’s Spine, Trauma, SI Joint, Dental, and Industrial operating companies as well as future platform applications. This role works closely with executive leadership, sales, engineering, product development, clinical teams, and external partners while helping manage and support a team of product managers responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives, supporting product adoption efforts, and executing commercial priorities within the operating companies.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, operational discipline, attention to detail, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to contribute effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization where priorities and opportunities continue to evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Player-Coach Execution- Directly manage and develop a team of marketing associates and/or product managers, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability across active marketing and commercialization initiatives.
- Lead by example, as a highly engaged hands-on leader willing to contribute to campaign execution and commercialization efforts alongside the team.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture with a bias toward action and measurable results.
- Assess team capacity and make recommendations for future hiring as the organization grows.
- Maintain visibility across active projects.
Commercial Marketing & Product Support
- Support commercialization initiatives across OsteoCentric’s Spine, Trauma, SI Joint, Dental, and Industrial operating companies.
- Assist in development and execution of product launch initiatives, presentations, educational materials, and commercial support resources within corporate branding and style guidelines.
- Research and identify market trends and competitive landscapes
- Drive product launch planning. Assist with development of customer-facing, clinical, and educational marketing materials aligned with commercialization priorities.
- Guide clinical storytelling and market education initiatives to strengthen brand authority.
Commercial & Demand Generation
- Oversee integrated marketing programs across digital content, customer communication, and professional marketing channels.
- Lead digital strategy including website, SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation.
- Support lead generation, customer engagement, and commercial marketing initiatives aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Support ongoing optimization of marketing execution, digital engagement, and campaign performance tracking.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to help inform strategy.
- Define and track key marketing metrics including surgeon conversion, adoption trends, and commercial impact.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
- Proven player-coach, comfortable both setting strategy and executing hands-on programs when necessary.
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing marketing product managers or similar roles.
- Strong foundation in “house of brands” brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and performance measurement capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation: Compensation for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks.
Location: This role is based in our Austin office.
