Customer Support & Operations Coordinator

CDP Payments | Smithtown, NY (In-Office Position)

CDP Payments is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to join our growing company. This position is available due to a long-tenured employee retiring after more than 10 years, creating an excellent opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with a well-established company.

We are looking for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while assisting customers and learning multiple software systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handle customer service and support requests from existing customers
  • Communicate with internal teams and service providers to resolve issues
  • Submit and process applications for new business accounts
  • Walk customers through software setup and programming instructions over the phone
  • Learn and navigate multiple POS CRM and software systems
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day
  • Maintain accurate records and stay organized across all responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone throughout the day
  • Good computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Familiarity with AI tools and/or willing to learn how to implement AI technology
  • Comfortable guiding customers through software programming and setup instructions
  • Ability to learn and work within multiple CRM & POS/payment software systems
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude and team-player mentality

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 annual salary
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
  • $500 monthly contribution toward health insurance
