Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Goshen, NY. This role is best suited for someone with prior production line or machine operation experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.
This is not a general warehouse position. Candidates must have experience working in a production or manufacturing setting, preferably operating equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting continuous workflow.

Production Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing equipment used for filling, packaging, and component preparation
• Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut down machines in both manual and automatic modes
• Perform line changeovers and support smooth production transitions
• Visually inspect bottles, parts, and materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct in-process quality checks and identify defects or irregularities
• Rework products when needed and ensure finished materials meet specifications
• Track, move, and stage materials and finished product using pallet jacks or other equipment
• Record production, inventory, and quality data in logs or computer systems
• Support routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment testing
• Follow line clearance procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with 5S, TPM, waste handling, recycling, and continuous improvement activities
• Provide guidance to other operators as needed and support team productivity

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior production line or machine operating experience required
• Warehouse experience alone is not sufficient for this role
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow written procedures, checklists, and production instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable using pallet jacks and other production support equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push with moderate force
• Comfortable climbing stairs, using ladders, and working in limited spaces when needed
• Good hand dexterity for operating machinery, tools, and measuring devices
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
• Must have sufficient vision, including near vision and color recognition, to inspect products and monitor equipment indicators
