Journeyman HVAC Technician (Facilities & Events)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Journeyman HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across facility operations and event environments. This role also supports temporary climate control setups to ensure safe and comfortable conditions during events.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, exhaust fans, thermostats, and ductwork
• Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal start-ups/shutdowns
• Support installation and removal of temporary climate control systems for events
• Troubleshoot airflow, temperature control, and mechanical issues
• Ensure all work meets safety and mechanical standards

Requirements

• Valid EPA 608 Certification (required)
• Journeyman-level HVAC experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred

• Additional mechanical or HVAC certifications
• Experience supporting large facilities, venues, or event sites
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
