Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate (required)
• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
• Passion for supporting K-5 students, especially those with special or life skills needs
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work collaboratively with educators
• Reliable and organized with excellent classroom management abilities
• Background in life skills instruction or individualized education programs preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering life skill-based lessons, adapting materials for individual student needs
• Provide direct support to students, encouraging participation, confidence, and development
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students with various learning styles and abilities, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure student progress and well-being

Position Details:

• Contract role from August 2026 through June 2027
• 32 hours per week, consistent daytime schedule aligned with the school calendar
