Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support inventory and supply chain operations for a Contract position based in Portland, Oregon. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating material movement, and helping ensure supplies are available when needed. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, comfort with data entry, and a practical understanding of logistics and inventory control.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking stock levels, receipts, usage, and replenishment activity.
• Coordinate the movement of supplies and materials to support daily operational and logistical needs.
• Perform inventory reviews and analyze discrepancies to help improve accuracy and reduce shortages.
• Enter and update supply data in internal systems with a high degree of precision and timeliness.
• Monitor supply availability and assist with ordering activities to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Support supply chain workflows by preparing documentation related to receiving, storage, and distribution.
• Work with team members and stakeholders to resolve inventory issues and improve material tracking processes.
• Assist with system-related inventory activities, including tasks connected to tools such as PeopleSoft when required.
• Experience supporting supply chain, inventory, or materials management functions.• Working knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory tracking practices.
• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Ability to analyze inventory information and identify inconsistencies or gaps.
• Familiarity with supply management processes, including receiving and stock control.
• Proficiency using inventory or enterprise systems to maintain operational data.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
