Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Validation Laboratory Scientist to maintain pathology samples and lab equipment, particularly focusing on alinity systems. The role involves servicing diagnostic equipment and performing electro-mechanical testing to ensure optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service diagnostic equipment, focusing on electro-mechanical testing.
• Analyze blood counts, including hematology and white blood cell analysis.
• Receive and process various fluid samples, including spinal and infectious fluids, determining disease and medication impacts.
• Utilize systems knowledge to analyze data for ongoing tests.
• Determine appropriate testing protocols based on sample type, executing 40-50 test protocols as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with test equipment and medical technology.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and systems validation.
• Knowledge in hematology and pathology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical testing.
• Skills in validation and verification processes.
• Familiarity with pathology lab equipment.
• Certification is not required but beneficial.

Work Environment

New hires will undergo a 3-4 week training period in Sunnyvale. If desired, travel home on weekends is at the individual's expense. The expectation is to remain in Sunnyvale for the duration of the training period. The position offers 2 weeks of paid time off and 6 paid holidays.

This is a Contract position based out of Temple, TX.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Temple,TX.
