School Psychologist - Omaha, Nebraska

Bring your expertise in educational mental health to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students’ growth and well-being. We are seeking two School Psychologists for an onsite position serving a vibrant elementary caseload. Your skills will directly contribute to creating a supportive learning environment for children near Omaha, NE, from August 2026 through May 2027.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong understanding of assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP planning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
• Capable of maintaining confidential student records and documentation
• Must be available for full-time, onsite work (remote/virtual options are not available)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct psychological services and interventions to students
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Develop and assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support positive student outcomes
• Engage in crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative mental health services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to child study teams
• Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages student resilience and academic success
