Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. Multiple positions are open in a dynamic educational setting, offering a contract role across three distinct locations for the school year running from August 2026 through May 2027. These roles provide the chance to work collaboratively with dedicated professionals and support diverse student populations.
Positions available:
- Elementary SLP focusing on Autistic Support (Dover): Work in a full-time capacity with no case management required. This caseload (around 45 students) emphasizes AAC and hands-on support in a vibrant elementary environment.
- Middle Grades SLP (New Oxford): Engage with students grades 4-8, addressing needs across regular education, learning support, life skills, and Autistic support. Expect a blend of case management and related services for a dynamic, multifaceted experience.
- Complex Needs SLP (York Learning Center): Serve one building supporting students with complex needs, where AAC is highly utilized. No case management involved—teamwork with OT, PT, and vision/hearing instructors is central. Caseload approximately 45 students.
- High School SLP (York Tech): Flexible offerings for part-time or full-time. Support secondary-level students, focusing on transition planning and real-life skills for a caseload of 55 (full-time) or 30 (part-time).
Requirements:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist and Teaching Certificates
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF (Clinical Fellows welcomed with supervision fee covered by employer)
- Interest in AAC preferred for select roles
- Collaborative approach to building relationships with multidisciplinary teams
- SLPAs may be accepted per state guidelines
