Role: Client Support Specialist II – Benefits & Payroll Support

Location: Elk Groove, IL

Pay rate: $22/hr

Contract Duration: 06 Months

 

Job Overview

We are hiring Customer Service Representatives / Client Support Specialists for a fast-paced call center environment supporting payroll, benefits, and HR-related services. Candidates should have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a structured, metrics-driven environment.

This role includes 5 weeks of paid onsite training. After training, employees will work 4 days onsite and 1 day remote (manager discretion may allow additional remote flexibility).

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer/client calls regarding payroll, benefits, and HR support
  • Resolve client issues and provide timely solutions
  • Assist users with system navigation and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain professionalism and strong customer satisfaction
  • Document interactions accurately
  • Follow daily schedules and productivity metrics
  • Communicate clearly via phone, email, and chat

Requirements

  • Previous Customer Service / Call Center experience preferred
  • Experience supporting Payroll, Benefits, HR, or CSR functions is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable handling high call volumes
  • Basic computer and multitasking skills
  • Reliable attendance during onsite training
