Key Responsibilities:
Assessment:
• Evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities using various diagnostic tools.
Treatment:
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct intervention for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Collaboration:
• Work with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to coordinate care and support.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
Education:
• Educate and counsel clients, families, and caregivers about communication and swallowing disorders.
Professional Development:
• Stay updated with advancements in the field through continuing education.
Compliance:
• Ensure practices adhere to regulations and confidentiality standards.
