Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring stepdown experience and a night shift commitment.

Details\n

\n
• Float pool position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
\n
• May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to the ER, depending on RN experience
\n
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing
\n
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n
• Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
\n
• Cerner charting experience preferred
\n
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across multiple float assignments
\n
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through a Shared Governance model
\n
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families
\n
• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
\n
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
\n
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
\n
• First-time travelers may be considered, though prior travel experience is strongly preferred
