About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing personalized care in a supportive environment, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report changes in client health status to the nursing staff.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document care provided and client progress in compliance with company policies.
• Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
