Day porter 1st and 2nd shift

About the Role:
Join Veritas Environmental Services LLC as a Day Porter on the 1st shift or 2nd shift, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas including restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
• Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning materials to ensure facilities are well-equipped.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down meeting spaces for events and gatherings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while performing duties.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate tasks.
• Support special projects and additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
