Primary Therapist - PRN

Join All Points North's clinical team as a Primary Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families on their journey to recovery. We're seeking a compassionate, skilled clinician to provide trauma-informed and evidence-based addiction treatment in our inpatient residential setting. If you're passionate about helping others heal from trauma and addiction while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver individual and family counseling services using trauma-focused and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Facilitate psycho-educational, experiential, and process groups that promote healing and peer support
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and stage of recovery
  • Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and clinical documentation in our EMR system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams during case staffings and treatment reviews to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Provide ongoing clinical updates and communicate transparently with clients' families and referral sources
  • Assess individual and family systems, identifying areas for therapeutic intervention, resource connection, and growth
  • Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in understanding trauma's role in addiction and mental health disorders
  • Partner with community providers to support continuity of care and aftercare planning
  • Participate in professional development through in-service trainings, seminars, and continuing education
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards and integrity in all clinical work
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in residential treatment settings working with individuals with addiction and mental health issues
  • Current professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, PhD, or PsyD)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present to groups, staff, and external professionals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based clinical systems
  • Ability to pass background check, criminal records screening, and urine drug screen
  • Valid references and official transcript from master's program
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules and clinical needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized training or certification in trauma therapy (EMDR, CPT, PE, or similar modalities)
  • Addiction-specific credentials or certifications (CAC, CADC, or equivalent)
  • Experience with 12-step recovery models and peer support integration
  • Knowledge of family systems therapy and multi-generational trauma

Physical Requirements

The following physical requirements are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions of this role:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods
  • Routine mobility including standing, walking, and moving throughout the residential facility
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and via phone/video
