Full-Time | Medical Assistant | Fayetteville, NC


Join a respected, physician-led independent Family Medicine practice serving the Fayetteville community. We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming outpatient environment.


Our practice values continuity, compassion, and strong provider–patient relationships. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring smooth daily operations.


Position Highlights

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during patient exams and clinical procedures
  • Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic testing
  • Record accurate patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked examination rooms
  • Manage and update patient medical records within the EHR system
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and health conditions
  • Triage patients and support urgent care needs as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care


Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or a related field preferred
  • Solid understanding of basic physiology and internal medicine principles
  • Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred
