Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job - Now Hiring

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Washington state license required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience as a certified Surgical Technologist. Prefer trauma experience.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Experience working in high-volume OR settings, including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with robotics cases preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1900.
• Typical scheduled days: Friday through Sunday, 0700-1930 noted in unit details; schedule includes call responsibilities.
• Call frequency: Approximately 2–3 calls in a 6-week schedule.
• Call response time: 20 minutes for trauma; 30 minutes for non-trauma.
• Orientation: Unit-specific orientation required; approximately 12 orientation hours.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC.
• Unit details: 11 suites, averaging 30–40 cases per day.
