Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job - Now Hiring

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment, assist physicians during procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain sterile technique to support patient safety and efficient departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a healthcare-related field preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred. Acute care or hospital Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and complete competencies on cath lab equipment including IVUS, ICE, contrast injector, hemodynamic systems, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
• Ability to adhere to aseptic technique and radiation safety practices.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation every third or fourth weekend and to be on call as selected in collaboration with other staff.
• State licensure when required by state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• One of the following certifications preferred: RCIS (CCI), RCES (CCI), RCS (CCI), ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT CI/CV/VI, RDMS (AB or OB/GYN), RDCS (AE), or RVT (ARDMS).
• Prior experience with TAVR, device implants, peripheral interventions, and advanced cath lab procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–15:30.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Weekend requirement: Yes, every third or fourth weekend.
• On-call requirement: Yes, as selected in collaboration with other staff.
