About this job
We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role with a skilled nursing facility in Wrangell, AK. The CT Technologist will accurately interpret physicians’ scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, operate CT equipment, and provide imaging services appropriate to the patient population served.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate imaging care across the lifespan and to assess patient status per department policies and procedures.
- Experience performing mammography is required (Mammographer capability indicated in position title).
- Willingness to work mid shift (days), full time, in a skilled nursing facility environment.
