Become a vital part of a hospital team in Oro Valley, AZ as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to provide diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients under radiologist direction and departmental protocols. You will perform routine CT procedures including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and assist with biopsy/drainage procedures. You will follow sterile technique when needed and demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing and contrast media handling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of CT technologist experience.
- Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current ARRT (Computed Tomography or Radiography) certification required.
- Valid Arizona state radiographer license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
- Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities as required. (Floating required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Familiarity with CT-guided biopsy and drainage procedures preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours include 0700–1930 for multiple scheduled days.
- Schedule follows a 3/12 rotation with assigned weekend coverage (sample days include Saturday, Sunday, Monday).
- Floating to sister facilities is required.
