About this job

Become a vital part of a hospital-based imaging team in Kenosha, WI as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast material, operate CT scanner equipment, perform peripheral IV starts for contrast injection, and provide imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients. This position supports a Level IV Trauma and Primary Stroke center in a hospital environment with a mix of clinical responsibilities and independent workflow.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Experience with Canon (Toshiba) CT scanners, including 40- and 80-slice units; experience on hospital 80-slice scanners preferred.
  • Experience with Medrad Stellant injector (>2 years preferred).
  • EPIC charting system experience (must have).
  • Current ARRT certification (CT registered preferred).
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to perform peripheral IV starts and administer IV contrast safely.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hospital CT experience in trauma or stroke center settings.
  • Experience independently managing CT workflow with support from x-ray technologists.


Assignment Details

  • 3rd shift rotation working a 7-on / 7-off schedule that begins on Thursday and runs through the following Wednesday.
  • Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday hours: 20:30–06:30 (8:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m.).
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday hours: 19:00–07:00 (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.).
  • Works independently in CT with onsite x-ray technologist support.
  • Orientation includes at least one shift to learn unit flow.
