MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. The technologist explains procedures to patients, positions and immobilizes patients on the exam table, observes patients during scans under physician direction, and reviews computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Safety measures and protective devices are used to ensure safety of patients and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as required for practice in Vermont.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience operating clinical MRI scanners and producing diagnostic images.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with patient positioning, immobilization techniques, and image quality assessment.
• Ability to follow MRI safety protocols and use safety devices to protect patients and staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital setting or similar acute care environment.
• Experience with a variety of MRI sequences and contrast administration protocols.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour shifts per week on day shift (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
• Location: Morrisville, VT.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
