About this job
Become a vital part of a Phoenix, AZ hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform prescribed CT procedures following department protocols, produce high-quality diagnostic images, educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, and support equipment quality control. You will collaborate with imaging and nursing teams and contribute to efficient departmental workflow while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- State licensure required for AZ; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience in CT.
- Demonstrated effective communication, human relations, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900-0730.
- Overnight schedule.
- Travel assignment in a hospital setting.
