Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment in a hospital setting in Hartford, CT. The role requires adherence to departmental protocols, safe handling of imaging equipment, and collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver timely diagnostic imaging.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience in a clinical setting.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred.
- Experience using Epic or similar electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to work holiday coverage and participate in evening on-call rotation as required by unit staffing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hospital-based CT experience.
- Familiarity with contrast administration protocols and safety procedures.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1500–2330.
- Evening shift with on-call requirement to cover evenings 1–2 nights per week.
