About this job
Become a vital part of a hospital-based radiology team in Winchester, VA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patient care. Respond promptly to changing clinical needs and work collaboratively with radiologists, nursing, and support staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS certification (VHS-specific BLS required for facility).
- Valid Virginia state license or ability to work with a temporary license while obtaining VA license.
- Experience performing routine and advanced CT procedures.
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating GE CT equipment preferred.
- Prior hospital CT experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM.
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Weekend requirement: every Saturday and Sunday.
