Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the food processing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production line and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay Range: $21/hour
Shift: Rotating Schedule, Days/Nights, Swing Shifts
What's the Job?
- Operate, adjust, and repair production equipment to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild machinery under supervision to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Input data into computer systems for product identification, labeling, and palletizing finished goods.
- Conduct inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
What's Needed?
- Ability to follow safety practices, policies, and procedures diligently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills to relay information across shifts and teams.
- Willingness to rotate through various workstations for coverage, relief, and training purposes.
- Basic record-keeping skills and familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
