CNC Maintenance Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a precision machining manufacturer serving automotive, commercial, and defense industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (CNC) to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department, supporting the Production and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay Range: $30 - $32/hr + $2 Shift Premium 

What’s the Job?

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve complex equipment issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Train machine operators on basic maintenance procedures and support continuous improvement efforts

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a CNC or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and ability to read schematics
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong communication skills
