Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Hamlet, NC

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Order Picking (80%): Review orders and pick materials using forklift, assemble in staging lanes, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Housekeeping (10%): Maintain clean aisles and rack locations, removing debris and empty pallets.
• Forklift Inspections (5%): Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts, escalate repairs as needed.
• Inventory Audit (5%): Assist with annual inventory counts, log product quantities, and perform product counts.
• Order Loading/Unloading (10%): Help load completed orders onto trucks, assist with unloading deliveries, and verify received items against purchase orders.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform basic inventory counts using math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret directions and order details accurately.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts safely.
• Experience with RFGen Gun operation is preferred.
