Associate - Material Handling

What You Will Do

• Supports all activities in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and food safety management system
• Report any quality and/or food safety problems to personnel of authority to initiate action.
• Operate fork / clamp industrial truck in safe manner
• Ensure equipment is in compliance with all safety regulations and inspections
• Process shipping information and work orders
• Transports materials for shipment and storage
• Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met
• Transports materials as required
• Inspects equipment as required
• Ensures machine Preventive Maintenance (PM) is performed according to the schedule
• Completes all required shipping / receiving forms
• Ensures pedestrian safety
• Other duties as instructed by Shipping Manager

What You Have to Offer

• GED or High School Diploma required
• Knowledge of machine Preventive Maintenance (PM), its performance according to the schedule
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving materials
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner at all times
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Complete and maintain certification of ProAmpac Industrial Truck Training
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to plan and perform multiple tasks
• Ability to perform basis mathematical skills
