What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment while assigned to an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area violations, and/or policy concerns according to site protocols.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports and communicate with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
