Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in St Louis, MO. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial data of the heart and vasculature.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a scrub tech for at least 3 years (required by client).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification. American Heart Association preferred.
- State licensure as required. Pending state license accepted.
- Experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures, coronary stents, STEMI care, vascular procedures, ICDs, pacemakers, loop recorder insertion, and carotid stenting.
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
- Experience in acute care hospital settings with moderate to high daily caseloads (client notes daily caseload per tech: 12).
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00 - 15:30.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8s.
- On-call requirement: rotational on-call; rotational weekends (every 4th weekend) and one weekday on-call shift.
- Daily caseload: approximately 12 cases per tech.
- Locals within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
- One segment of time off permitted per contract (RTO restriction).
