About this job

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a hospital in Valparaiso, IN. This role requires collaboration with emergency and inpatient units and adherence to established imaging protocols.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 1-2 years CT technologist experience required.
  • CT and general radiography (XR) experience and proficiency required.
  • Experience with GE CT scanners and Philips radiography equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injectors preferred.
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred.
  • Travelers must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
  • Travelers must attach required license and certifications and include a driver’s license with permanent home address that matches ID upon submission.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience covering emergency department imaging and supporting inpatient rehab units preferred.
  • Protocol familiarity and prior use of protocol books or scanner-based protocols preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 1900–0700.
  • Scheduled workdays include Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings (per client schedule).
  • May work independently from 2300–0700; XR tech available until 2300.
  • Will cover CT and XR for emergency department and low-volume inpatient units as needed.
