Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job - Now Hiring

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in Wichita, KS. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and support of complex IR and neurointerventional cases.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Technologist experience (client requirement).
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Kansas state technologist license required.
• Experience with angiographic/interventional equipment including biplane and single-plane systems preferred.
• Experience in procedures such as embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, drain placements, biopsies, spine procedures, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior stroke and neurointerventional experience preferred.
• Experience working in large trauma centers preferred.
• Flexible, able to handle high-acuity or stressful cases, and a positive professional demeanor preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700–1730.
• Call requirement: one weekend per month and one night per week on call.
• Unit configuration: 3 procedure rooms (2 Philips biplanes, 1 GE single); MAC lab documentation.
• Average caseload: approximately 10–12 procedures per day.

As a travel IR Technologist, you will support high-acuity interventional and neurointerventional procedures, contributing to patient outcomes in a high-volume hospital setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced procedural care and imaging support.
