Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you will perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires CT experience and the ability to support radiology services in a hospital serving the western Upper Michigan Peninsula. The facility provides a 64-slice CT scanner, nuclear imaging, 3D mammography, the area’s only open-bore MRI, and supports trauma, cardiopulmonary, and surgical services.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification and state licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification.
• Must have CT experience.
• Experience working in hospital radiology preferred, including exposure to trauma and emergency department imaging.
• Ability to operate or support 64-slice CT scanners, nuclear imaging equipment, and 3D mammography is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a Level 3 Trauma environment is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a small, community hospital setting is preferred.
• Prior experience with open-bore MRI procedures is preferred.
• Cross-training in multiple modalities is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1900.
• Facility serves a rural region of the western Upper Michigan Peninsula; candidate may be expected to adapt to a smaller hospital environment.
