Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job - Now Hiring

Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Berwyn, IL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and allied staff to ensure patient safety, image quality, and efficient throughput for an acute care environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital or comparable acute care setting.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT certification or ARRT certification with CT registry eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and following contrast administration protocols.
• Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and routine post-processing techniques.
• Ability to work nights and manage high-volume trauma and emergency cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a level II or level I trauma center or busy emergency department.
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Familiarity with PACS, radiology information systems (RIS), and electronic health record documentation.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Night shift schedule as assigned, including weekend coverage per department needs.
• Candidates should be prepared to support trauma and emergency imaging demands during overnight hours.

As a CT technologist on assignment, you will contribute directly to timely diagnosis and treatment by producing high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety.
