Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Technician – $26+/hr (DOE)
Fort Collins, CO
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Part-time option available (20 hours/week)

Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of two commercial/manufacturing facilities in Fort Collins. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating outside vendors to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep across two local facilities, including interior and exterior work
• Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, and building systems
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors for specialized repairs (electrical, plumbing, roofing, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent larger issues
• Support manufacturing floor needs, ensuring equipment areas and workspaces remain safe and functional
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment
• Handle minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Document completed work and communicate updates to leadership

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and take initiative on repairs
• Experience working with and coordinating outside vendors/subcontractors
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
