Maintenance Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have troubleshooting skills, good computer skills, and experience in electrical or mechanical automation robotics, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Shakopee, MN

Pay Range: $26.44/hour

Position Type: 1-Year Contract with great potential for hire

Shift: Monday - Thursday; 3:00PM - 1:30AM

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repair of complex production machinery and mechanical equipment
• Use engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment
• Utilize hand tools, measuring tools, taps, and presses for repairs
• Work with maintenance tracking software (CMMS) and support all areas of production as needed

What's Needed?

• Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology, or related field
• Minimum zero (0) years of related experience, yet related experience preferred
• Ability to work 10-hour second shift hours (Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Strong troubleshooting skills and basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
