Maintenance Mechanic - Now Hiring

Our client, located in New Bern, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive, safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $25.00/hr

Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday - Friday

What’s the Job?

• Perform general maintenance and repair of machinery, buildings, and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes).
• Inspect and repair pumps, motors, valves, and fans.
• Assist with electrical installations and equipment troubleshooting.
• Utilize hands and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.

What’s Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and sketches.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and hazard prevention.
