Contract Details- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Start: June 22, 2026
- Pay Rate: $51.40 $66.71 / Hour (USD)
- Schedule: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off; EWW 57-hour work week
- Travel Requirements: Mobilization/Demobilization covered; trips home covered
- Additional Allowances: 5% Project Allowance; 5% Project Completion Incentive
- Camp Status: Provided (camp-based project site)

In this role, you will provide technical oversight of the project's ES&H compliance activities through inspection of project field execution activities. You will assist project and construction management in implementing and complying with project safety requirements and in addressing ES&H issues as they arise during project execution. You will work directly with other project-level functions (e.g., engineering, construction, subcontracts, procurement, project controls, document controls) to assist them in addressing the applicable ES&H requirements in their work activities and conduct daily site surveillance to verify adequate use of PPE, routine equipment inspections, and project ES&H initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinates a wide variety of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) disciplines to facilitate implementation of the client's ES&H program and ES&H Management System, including aiding compliance with ES&H standards, applicable regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.
- Delivers toolbox talks and participates in site meetings with project team members and contractors/subcontractors to advise them of safety requirements.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, systems, and procedures necessary for the safety and health of employees and protection of the environment and communities.
- Maintains ES&H databases, inclusive of incident events, audit/assessment findings, and corrective actions.
- Performs statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify performance trends and contributing factors as part of continuous improvement and makes recommendations accordingly.
- Prepares communications, writes reports, and prepares documents for program execution and records retention.
- Coordinates incident notifications, leads investigations, and prepares incident investigation reports.
- Participates in and may lead employee training, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance programs.
- Coordinates ES&H recognition programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis as needed for incident investigations.
- Conducts Project Contractor Orientation.
- Leads and implements Project ESH Audits, monitoring completion of specified corrective actions.
- Coaches Contractor Project and Safety Team on processes and expectations.
- Knowledge of safety programs/engineering systems, principles, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of national safety laws/regulations and regulatory agencies, regulatory requirements and responsibilities, industry standards/current practices for ES&H, and best practices.
- Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
- Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of ES&H subcontractors or consultants.
- Understanding of the client's ESH Core Processes.
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 5 8 years of relevant experience, OR 9 12 years of relevant work experience.
- 5 8 years of relevant ES&H experience (with Bachelor's degree), or 9 12 years of relevant work experience.
