Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Modesto, California. This role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiograms with percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker insertions, peripheral aortograms, and other interventional cardiac procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and a shift of 12 hours
- Required Qualifications: California ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), at least 2 years of experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, and a valid California license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience, experience with Coronary Angiograms with PCI, Pacemakers, and Peripheral Aortograms.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification.
- Additional Information: Must be available to start lab work within 3-5 days of signing, provide copy of certifications at time of submission, and have 7-year work history verification.
- Note: Call requirement of 8-12 shifts per month and one weekend of call per month. Candidates must have current Nursys license, appropriate certifications, and meet all vaccination requirements. Locals at a lower billing rate are accepted, and the candidate must be aware of this.
