Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is based in Modesto, California. This role involves performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiovascular cath lab setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a schedule of 10-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Shift: 10-hour shifts, Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid AART California license and RCIS certification, 2 years of experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory procedures, including procedures such as coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemakers, and peripheral aortograms. Candidates must have current BLS and ACLS certifications, and submit a copy of certifications at the time of application.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record system experience preferred.
- Additional Qualifications: Must have recent work history verified within the last 7 years, with accurate documentation available. Background checks for any criminal history or DUIs must be disclosed prior to submission.
- Schedule: 10-hour shift, with 8-12 call shifts per month and one weekend of call required per month.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AART California license, RCIS
- Travel requirements: Candidates must be able to travel within 50 miles; local candidates accepted at a lower billing rate.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing and must have Nursys license verification within the last 2 weeks. All certifications must be in hand at the time of submittal.
