Physical Therapist - School Setting in Brookfield, WI

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in an educational setting this Extended School Year (ESY) near Brookfield, WI. This ESY assignment is scheduled for two days each week, with current program hours running Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:30pm, from June 15th through July 17th. Shape your summer work-life balance while making a direct difference in students’ lives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with valid state credentials
• Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor therapeutic strategies to meet the needs of diverse student populations
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Dedication to fostering student participation, mobility, and achievement

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy to students in ESY programs
• Collaborate with special education teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective student care plans
• Assess, document, and report on student progress in alignment with school goals
• Modify activities and environments to promote student safety and access
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive educational atmosphere
