The Passenger is seeking hospitality-driven team members who thrive in a dynamic, guest-focused environment where food, cocktails, ambiance, and connection come together.

This is a hybrid front-of-house position combining elements of serving, bartending, and elevated guest hospitality. Our team members are cross-trained to create seamless and memorable experiences throughout the restaurant, and Dickens Opera House.

Earnings mentioned are normal ranges of base wage + tips. On special days such as Mother's Day, tips are much higher.

Responsibilities
  • Guide guests through food, cocktail, wine, and zero-proof menus
  • Provide attentive and knowledgeable table service
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain a warm, polished, and welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist with opening/closing side work and maintaining service standards
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth dining flow and guest satisfaction
  • Support private events, live music nights, and special experiences as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant and/or bartending experience preferred
  • Strong communication and hospitality skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Interest in food, cocktails, culture, and guest experience
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and special events

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in the hospitality industry
  • At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
  • Speaks English
  • Reads English
  • Available to work: holidays

  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
  • 2-3 years of total work experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
