Job Overview
A leading food distribution company seeks a Driver Helper in Lebanon, TN to support the delivery process. As a critical part of the food supply chain, you will assist Drivers by helping with deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, 6+ months in a warehouse or food service environment, and a clean driving record. Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading food orders from box trucks or other commercial vehicles using manual lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
• Support route driving by helping to organize deliveries for efficiency and accuracy
• Load and secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit
• Help navigate delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Move heavy items safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
• Collaborate closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the delivery process

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Experience in warehouse environments or moving heavy loads is preferred
• Familiarity with commercial driving, especially box trucks or similar vehicles
• Previous delivery driver experience is highly advantageous
• Ability to drive confidently, including manual transmission vehicles if required
• Knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures for efficient deliveries
• Capable of heavy lifting and physical moving tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting drivers and warehouse personnel

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Available to work: overnight
• Available to work: early morning
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures

• 3+ years of experience in the warehouse & production industry
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Able to comfortably lift 70 lbs
