Job Summary:
Mammographer in Burnet, Texas this position involves performing mammography and bone densitometry imaging procedures to assist in breast and skeletal diagnostics. The role requires proficiency in diagnostic and routine breast imaging as well as DEXA scans. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Burnet, Texas
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Mammography and DEXA, relevant education and training in breast imaging and bone densitometry, and licensure as a Mammography Technician. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D Mammography System and Hologic Horizon DXA System; well-versed in diagnostic and routine breast imaging scheduled every 30 minutes, diagnostic breast imaging every 40 minutes, and DEXA scans every 20 minutes.
- Additional Information: Performs mammography imaging studies including positioning, compression, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance. Documents patient services accurately, participates in educational activities, and maintains inventory of supplies.
